Dear reader, I decided to write this biography as if I am talking to you face to face, just to try to amuse myself writing it and yourself reading it.

I have a Ph.D. in Genetics, Molecular and Cellular Biology, title obtained at the dawn of 2018, and previously I had got a Master’s Degree in Molecular Biology and a Bachelor’s Degree in Biology. I never changed the field during all my studies and I gained great satisfaction out of it!

DISCLAIMER: I worked in a hospital for a certain period but I am a biologist, not a medical doctor, so do not ask me for advice if any part of your body hurts. If you were a double helix of DNA, perhaps I could help you but... in this case, you would not ask me questions, would you?

​I delight in various arts including music (I play the piano, the guitar and sing!) and of course writing, which has a special place in my heart. I have been writing since I was a child and, not knowing how to do it in any other way, I wrote EVERYTHING IN CAPS in notebooks depicting dinosaurs on the cover. Now I write on a computer, with dinosaurs on my desktop background, hoping that my style has improved since then…

I have been writing short stories for some time now, while working on my first novel, achieving a decent success in writing contests. I have got honorable mentions and I have taken the first place in the national competitions "La Fiaba d'Oro" (The Golden Fairytale) and "Scienza Fantastica" (Fantastic Science).

Among other things, I manage a YouTube channel / facebook page on role-playing games called "Coboldo Channel" and I have founded a company called "Valknut Studio". The first board game that we are developing will land on kick-starter this autumn.
